“I use my experience in various fields to help regular folks navigate tricky legal issues and explain the best options in plain English.”
I have not always been an attorney. I served in the Army for about 5 years, which included 2 tours in Iraq. After leaving the service, I finished BBA in Finance and went on to Law School. I focused on personal finance in undergrad and business law and elder law issues in law school.
I have worked for the Federal Government in Veterans Benefits, Federal Contracting, and as a Financial Institution Examiner with a Federal Regulatory Agency. I recently completed the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) Elder Law Certificate Program. I also have a VA Attorney Accreditation.
My experience inside of banking, regulatory agencies, and my other previous experience, gives me unique insight into how these systems really work and how the other side thinks. For example, most law firms that do consult with banks charge far too much and don’t really have the expertise to give solid, sound, legal, regulatory, and best-practices business advice. I can provide regulatory opinions, new product reviews, compliance trainings, draft forms, review policies and procedures, auditing, monitoring, file reviews, and any other regulatory compliance issues or questions you may have at a fair price and offer advice that can mitigate and reduce your regulatory risk and increase your bottom line.
