Stuart Collis is an attorney licensed in the states of Michigan, New York, and Illinois. He also is licensed to practice before the Federal Courts in the Eastern District of Michigan, Western District of Michigan, Southern District of Indiana, Tax Court, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. He graduated from the University of Michigan and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was on law review and graduated with cum laude honors.

He has been a speaker on issues of animal law at the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association’s semi-annual conference and a speaker and moderator for Michigan’s Institute of Continuing Legal Education on a variety of topics. He is an expert in collections and has over two decades of civil litigation, family law, and criminal law experience.

Mr. Collis is a trained mediator and has extensive experience with case evaluation procedures. He has also served on a number of state and national organizations, including NARCA, WCBA, MCBA, and the Michigan Department of Agriculture’s Companion Animal Committee. Mr. Collis has been published extensively, including several republications. He has created and presented numerous educational sessions for interested organizations.
